20 beautiful watercolour and pastel illustrations accompany the simple and poignant prose which convey to the reader what it is “to be an elephant,” and why it is so important that they continue to “roam free and far and wide.”

Here are some samples of the 20 full page illustrations you will find in “to be an Elephant.”

  1. Wow, Karl, have you thought about selling prints of your illustrations (in general and at the gift shop)? They are beautiful – ! would buy all of them and frame them. Seriously, they are beautiful…

  2. Karl,

The watercolors are stunning!! How do I bag myself a signed copy of the book??

    • Hey Cara,
Thank you for your comments. I’d say the best way to get a signed copy would be to make your way to Elephant Nature Park, Thailand, where I’ll be working from next month, and I’ll happily sign a copy for you!!

      Take care,
